Hello my lovelies! Today I have for you a guest post I did with Mandy from House of Rose back in January. I haven’t posted it yet because to be honest I didn’t feel like we were in a healthy place here at the DeVolk household and didn’t want it to seem like we were. But, now we are back on a little health kick around here and we are trying to lose a little (maybe more than a little) weight and this recipe definitely ties into our new menu options. It is not the healthiest but it’s on that right track and I’m not trying to totally deprive ourselves either. So, here you have it: my recipe for Skinny Chicken Parmesan with Chunky Veggie Marinara. This “skinny” version of chicken Parmesan is loaded with veggies yet with a flavor profile that is familiar, this version will still leave you feeling satisfied.Pin It
Ready for today’s recipe?! I have a very easy lasagna recipe to share today. I love this recipe because there is no need to fuss over boiling long pasta noodles before hand. You just layer, bake and eat! I also love this because the longer it sits the better it gets and you can eat off it for days!Pin It
Hi guys! Now, I know. I’ve already shown you once how to make my spaghetti sauce. This is just a touch different to that recipe with a few tweaks and a much faster version. This is how I make meat sauce, you can use this over pasta for a quick dinner or, how I use it, for lasagna or spaghetti casserole as well.
So, yeah… I was trying to come up with some really snazzy title for this recipe (if this really can be called a “recipe”) and nothing great came to mind. A few went through my little head: Super Duper Easy Pizza! Semi-Homemade Sausage Pizza (This was my favorite but I thought I might get sued by Sandra Lee or Food Network so I decided against it. But wouldn’t it be amaze balls if Food Network contacted lil old me?! *keep dreamin’*) And, while this IS super duper easy and semi-homemade and…pizza….nothing snazzy came to mind. So, here you have it folks, Italian Sausage Pizza, ta-da!Pin It
Hey guys! I know you’ve been anxiously awaiting my recipe for meatballs since seeing my last post for Spaghetti. Well, here it is! These are really great and just get better the longer they simmer in the luscious tomato sauce.
