I am a Lazy Procrastinator.

Good afternoon, my name is Dana and I am a lazy procrastinator. That’s right folks, I admit it, I have a problem. This may or may not be a follow up to my Confessions of a Non-Baker post.

You be the judge.

It don’t know what it is but I get distracted easily! I can constantly have a list of ideas for my little blog here and have material for months. Or then, I can be completely obsessed with another area of my life and get sucked up in that for hours, even days on end. I can’t tell you how often I could be caught on my days off, playing games like they have on partybingo.com back when I worked in my first restaurant. Instead of cleaning or doing the laundry, of course!

Or, like many of you out there, I am sure, the Hubs and I get on these kicks at home. I seem to like to make the same things over and over for dinner each week. So, by doing this unfortunately for my loyal readers I don’t have any new tasty recipes to share too often! Darn, why can’t we be more adventurous eaters?!

So, that leaves me to my confession of being a lazy procrastinator. I haven’t felt like actually using my brain to think up any new recipes and that is why I haven’t had any new posts this week. I am sorry. I hope you still love my little ramblings!

Anywhoozels, what have you all been up to lately? Read any good books? I’ve actually just started the second book in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series: The Girl Who Played with Fire. VERY good so far, highly recommend it! I may or may not do a review on this. We shall see my lovelies!

P.S. You do forgive me, right?

  1. BOOKS! I LOVE books. I’m such a book worm. And, even though I’m gearing up to turn 25, I’m still a big fan of Y.A. Literature. (I was actually accepted into two different grad schools to study Y.A. and Children’s Lit, but decided against it due to not having enough moolah to pay for it!)

My recent faves are Mermaid by Carolyn Turgeon and Matched by Ally Condie. I definitely recommend them if you’re into that sort of thing. I’ve heard that the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series is really good. I’ll have to make that my next read!

As for the whole procrastination thing? I’m right there with you. I wish it weren’t so, but I’m terrible about putting things off to the last minute. Le sigh.
