Bears Vs Packers: Are You Ready For Some FOOTBALL?!

Bears Vs Packers! Hello friends! As you might be able to see in my little title above that this post will be a little different from the rest. You see, in this little condo that I call home there is a rivalry. One set much before my time. And this rivalry continues to this day. Yes, I’m talking about the Bears Vs Packers tonight. As you may have guessed, if you have been reading my past posts that is, that I love all things Chicago (except the White Sox, Go Cubbies!). Especially the food, but along with that comes Da Bearssss…. What you wouldn’t have guessed it that the Hubs loooooves the Packers. Boo, hiss, I know, I know. But to love this man I knew I had to face the facts and therefore I put up with it. Here is a crap-tastic picture we took before we were married to show how we really feel:

Bears Vs Packers Split Household

Why does Hubby love the Packers, you ask? Well, while he was born and raised here in Florida his Grandfather is from Illinois, very close to the Wisconsin border and always routed for The Pack. So, that’s what he was brought up on. And, while I do have to admit I’m not really that into the sport other than to love all things Chicago, I will be making one heck of a meal for the occasion and you know I will be telling you all about that in days to come.

Do you have a split household? What are your favorite teams? How do you deal with it?! I would love to know, leave it in the comments below! Are you cooking something special for tonight, or when your favorite team (teams) are playing?! What is your go to meal?? I hope you all have a great night and cheer a bit for the bears will ya (for me, pwease?)?!
