Easy Banana Berry Smoothie for One

So, now that we have been eating healthier (I’m down 11 pounds, woot woot!) I’m having to come up with creative meals and snacks I can have through out the day. I normally eat about 2-3 snacks through the day and then have dinner with Jeremy when he gets home. This is great for my morning or mid afternoon snack! I love that it is really very versatile as well! Smoothies seem to be getting more and more popular and I couldn’t agree more, they are starting to be the highlight of my day!

Easy Banana Berry Smoothie for One, great for my morning or mid afternoon snack!

These are so easy it’s crazy. I never make more than just enough for me because it will go to waste. They are surprisingly filling!

Easy Banana Berry Smoothie for One
 
 
Ingredients
  • ½ banana
  • 5 strawberries
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 Cup lowf at raspberry Kefir (or low fat plain or vanilla yogurt)
Instructions
  1. Chop up fruit and add to blender with remaining ingredients.
  2. Blend until completely smooth with no chunks.
  3. Enjoy!

I like to use the low fat kefir because it is not as thick as yogurt. It is drinkable already and I like my smoothies on the thinner side. If you like them thicker use the yogurt instead. You can find kefir either by the milk section or by the yogurts. They have lots of flavors, so smoothie possibilities are endless!
