We LOVE grilling in my family. My Dad currently owns at least 5 grills, all varying types, shapes and sizes! There is just nothing like being outside in some gorgeous weather, grilling up an entire meal and having a tasty cold beverage at your side! That might be one of my favorite aspect of this time of year, it sure beats getting the house hot! Plus, you can even grill while at the beach or your favorite park, you can’t beat that! It’s also great for parties or for a fun night in. That’s what Jeremy and I  like to do when our favorite Cubbies are playing. Plop us down on the couch with a huge pile of wings and we’re in heaven! So, when our favorite team was at bat this past weekend we invited a bunch of our family over to enjoy some easy party food and the game. I wanted to make the occasion extra special so I made wings two ways, and you won’t believe how easy it was!

Like I said earlier, I made two type of wings. The ones pictures above, Honey BBQ and below, Garlic Parmesan.

They were both sooo amazing! I even surprised myself, I love when that happens, lol!! The Honey BBQ wings got so sticky and with that sweet glaze, ugh we were in Heaven! Then the Garlic Parmesan are more subtle but just makes a nice alternative to a traditional wing, I really loved these! I picked up the wings while I was at Sam’s Club, they are Tyson Grillin’ Wings and already have a smokey flavor.

I already love Tyson products but I was SERIOUSLY impressed at how good these were! The flavor they already had right out of the bag was so good, you really didn’t even need to make a sauce for them, they were flavored to the bone. And easy too! More on that later! 😉 I also wanted to pick up something I could whip up for a nice Summery drink, and spotted a huge container of Kraft Country Time Lemonade, perfect! There is nothing more Summery than lemonade!

Honey BBQ Grilled Chicken Wings

Get grill ready and oil grill grates. Place wings straight from the freezer on to the grill over medium heat.

Turning every few minutes, make sure wings don’t burn. About 5 minutes until you are ready to take the wings off, baste them in the honey BBQ sauce, turn and baste on the other side as well. This will make sure the sauce gets nice and caramelized on the wings.

Make sure you have a clean plate or tray ready to put the wings on when they’re done cooking. enjoy!

Garlic Parmesan Grilled Chicken Wings

Melt 1 stick of unsalted butter in sauce pan over medium heat. Add in 3-4 cloves finely minced garlic and cook until just fragrant. Take off heat and add 1/2 Cup fresh grated parmiggiano reggiano cheese. Set aside.

Cook wings the same way as the bbq wings only don’t baste them in bbq sauce at the end. Cook them all the way through and take off the grill. Add to a bowl and toss with 4 Tbls sauce and 1 tsp fresh chopped Italian parsley. OR as much sauce as you desire. Serve and enjoy!

So, the Tyson Grillin’ Wings bags are 3.75 pounds each, I used half and half for this recipe and it was more than enough! I also served it with some grilled potato wedges and the Kraft Country Time Lemonade, it was sooo good and refreshing! I will definitely make this again as just a meal for the two of us or at another family get together!
