Spring Blossoms Peanut Butter and Chocolate Cookies

Hi everyone! Spring is in the air! I hope you won’t get sick of me talking about the change in season every single post, but I’m just so EXCITE! My Mom made these cookies and they are just so cute {and delicious!} they instantly reminding me of blooming Spring flowers! They are peanut butter cookies, with a cute little Hershey’s kiss. This is definitely a classic but I just couldn’t wait to share them with you!

These little cuties come from the Betty Crocker cookbook, my Mom’s go to!

Spring Blossoms {Peanut Butter and Chocolate Cookies}
 
 
Ingredients
  • ½ Cup sugar (plus 2 Tbls extra)
  • 1 Cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 Cup peanut butter, creamy
  • 1 Cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 Cups all-purpose flour
  • 1½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • about 7 dozen Hershey Kisses
Instructions
  1. Prehet oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, add the ½ Cup sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, butter, and eggs. With a hand mixer on medium speed, beat together ingredients.
  2. Add in the flour, baking soda and baking powder until it forms a dough.
  3. Roll the dough into 1 inch balls and roll in the remaining sugar. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
  4. Bake 8 to 10 minutes until the edges are browned. Immediately place a kiss in the middle of each cookie and press down. Transfer to a wire rack to cool. Serve and enjoy!

These are really easy to make and this recipe really makes a lot of them, perfect for a cookie exchange!

    These are seriously my favorite cookie ever. I think it is amazing that they are so simple yet so, so delicious. I am really craving some now!
