Woo hoo! It’s Tuesday so you know it’s series time with Parrish and I! In case you weren’t aware, we are posting one recipe a week for the entire month of October that you can use at your Thanksgiving feast! (Or any night of the week, really, hehe) Today I’m sharing this tried and true recipe for garlic cheese muffins, get ready to be WOWed!
Shame on me, I have been using this recipe for so long I have no idea where I got it from. If you know where this is from please tell me and I will link to them ASAP! But, you know I still tweaked it a little… it’s a sickness.
1 1/2 Cup Flour
1/2 Tbls sugar
1 Tbls baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 Cups cheese, shredded, whichever kind you prefer, I used sharp cheddar
1 Cup milk
1/4 Cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 Cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp onion powder
Pre heat oven to 375 degrees. Whisk dry ingredients together and stir in cheese.
In a separate bowl, whisk together egg, milk and butter. Pour this over the wet mixture and combine thoroughly with a spoon or fork. Evenly distribute mix in a WELL greased muffin tin. This makes 12 large muffins.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown on top.
Melt the butter, add remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
When muffins are straight out the oven brush evenly with glaze. Serve warm, enjoy!
That’s it wow, even I know you can do this! Mix, plop, bake and brush. BOOM. Thanks for reading!
